Pairing

1. Hold the Play/Pause button for about 4 seconds, until the light flashes red and blue.
2. Open your device's Bluetooth list and select "Cozy".
3. If a password is requested, use 0000.

Controls

The control panel has three buttons and a status light.

• Minus (-): long press for volume down, short press for previous song.
• Play/Pause: long press to turn on or off. Short press to play, pause, answer or hang up. Double click to redial the last call. Long press during an incoming call to reject it.
• Plus (+): long press for volume up, short press for next song.
• Status light: red and blue flashing means pairing mode. Red means charging, and blue means fully charged.

To answer a call, press Play/Pause once. If audio is already playing, it pauses for the call. Press Play/Pause again to end the call. Double-click Play/Pause to redial. Use the control panel buttons to play, pause, or skip music. Double-click the + button to activate Siri on an iOS device. Hold Play/Pause for about 4 seconds to turn the headset on or off.

Charging

The charging port is USB-C. Fully charge the battery before first use. Plug the supplied USB cable into the charging port, and the other end into a USB plug or portable charger. Use only the supplied charger. The LED turns red while charging and blue when the headset is fully charged. A full charge takes about 2 hours (about 120 minutes at DC 5V).

Battery

• Play time: 6 hours.
• Standby time: over 260 hours.
• Battery: 3.7V 100mAh rechargeable Li-polymer.
• Bluetooth: version 5.0. Frequency 2.402 GHz to 2.480 GHz. Range 10 m / 33 ft.
• Rated power: RMS 10mW x 2. Speaker: 24Ω / 30 mm.
• Built-in over-current, over-charge, and over-heat protection.

Volume

3.0 is designed with a reduced maximum volume. The volume limit is fixed and cannot be switched off.

Wired use

3.0 works with or without the wireless function. Use the 3.5 mm auxiliary cable when wireless is not available or the headset is not charged.

1. Turn wireless power off by long-pressing the power button on the control panel.
2. Connect the male USB-C connector on the cable to the USB-C charging port on the headset.
3. Use the in-line cable controls for volume and other functions.

Fitting

1. Place CozyPhones on the user and pull the band down to cover the ears.
2. Using a piece of tape, mark the position on the headband where the speakers would rest over the user's ears.
3. Remove the headband and reach into the opening to separate the material from the flat speaker.
4. Position the speaker in the area marked with tape. Press the material around the speaker to secure it.

Washing

• Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
• Always remove the headphones before washing. Remove all electronics from the headband.
• Machine wash the headband fabric on a gentle cycle in cold water with mild detergent.
• Lay it flat to air dry. Do not put it in the dryer.

Troubleshooting

• The headset powers down if a wireless connection has failed for 3 minutes.
• While charging, red means it is still charging. Blue means it is fully charged.
• If Bluetooth asks for a password, enter 0000.
• If wireless is unavailable or the battery is empty, use the 3.5 mm cable with wireless power off.

Warnings

• Do not tamper with, disassemble, drop, or open the electrical components.
• Do not store the product near acidic or alkaline materials.
• Keep it away from fire or excessive heat.
• This product is not suitable for children under 36 months. For children between 36 months and 13 years of age, use only the Kids CozyPhones models.
• Corded CozyPhones may present a strangulation hazard. Do not let children wrap cords around themselves. This can cause death by strangulation.
• To prevent possible hearing damage, do not use at high volumes for long periods of time.
• If you have a pacemaker or other electrical device, consult your physician before using this product.

CozyPhones 4.0

Pairing

1. Hold the Play/Pause button on the control panel for about 4 seconds, until you see a red and blue flashing light.
2. Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select "Cozy 4.0".
3. If a password is requested, use 0000.

Share Mode

Share Mode (Dual Audio Sync) lets two 4.0 headsets use one audio source.

1. With the headset off, press and hold Play/Pause for 3 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue.
2. Repeat that step with the second headset.
3. With both headsets in pairing mode, press the + button three times on either headset.
4. The LED on both headsets flashes purple when they are synced.
5. On the Bluetooth device, find "Cozy 4.0" and connect to it. Both headsets play the same audio.
6. To disconnect the headsets from each other, double-press the minus button.

Controls

• Status light: red and blue flashing means pairing mode, and purple means two headsets are linked in Share Mode. Red means charging, and blue means fully charged.

Use the control panel to play, pause, or skip tracks. Hold Play/Pause for about 4 seconds to power the headset on or off. Volume limit

4.0 has a volume limiting switch inside the control module.

1. With the headset off, reach into the headband and remove the control module from the sewn-in pocket.
2. The switch is on the side of the unit connected to the wires.
3. On is Kids Mode, recommended for hearing protection. Off is Normal Mode, and allows for standard volume in noisy conditions.
4. Change the switch only while the headset is powered off.
